Rachel’s role here is leading the organization in a healthy and positive direction to meet the mission and goals established by staff, board, and founders that foster growth and stability in the people we serve.
Rachel has been in the behavioral health field for over 10 years with experience in a variety of settings. She work in community behavioral health for several years serving youth, adults, and families in outpatient services and the county jails. She carried various leadership roles and oversaw crisis services for multiple counties. The last two years she has been dedicated to behavioral health administration over 3 counties in her governmental role where she helped plan, monitor and fund treatment, prevention and supportive services.
Rachel graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelors Degree in Rehabilitation Services in 2011 and then obtained a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in 2013.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her two daughters and watching her oldest daughter compete in swimming competitions. Rachel loves spending time outdoors hiking, swimming, or just enjoying nature.
Rachel finds joy in helping people because she knows personally how this can help plant seeds and change paths in the lives of others. She is inspired by seeing the work God does in the midst of our brokenness. Her favorite scripture is Psalm 40:1-2, “I waited patiently for the Lord, and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings”.
Rachel is committed to following Jesus, being a light in a dark world, and showing others what the Lord does if we surrender to him.
