Hundreds of community leaders and people in long-term recovery celebrated the opening of the men’s space at Emerge Recovery and Trade Initiative on June 16 with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house that was a huge success.

“On my most recent visit to the Emerge Recovery and Trade Initiative, I saw firsthand how this nonprofit is an invaluable resource in our community’s efforts to curb the plight of substance abuse in the Miami Valley,” said Congressman Mike Turner. “This organization provides emancipated minors and those recovering from addiction with the skills and job training they need to re-enter the workforce. By preparing young men and women for employment in skilled trades, Emerge has shown itself as the tip of the spear in our fight to bolster long-term recovery efforts.”
